The Alberleen Group welcomes Jean Case and Jim Sorenson as the opening keynote speakers for their Family Office Innovation Summit in Salt Lake City, UT Feb. 4-6
We are thrilled to have Jean and Jim join us this year, says Adam Goodfriend, CEO and CIO of The Alberleen Group, and we are excited to have them kick off our summit and share their thoughts and experiences around philanthropy, impact, and investing.
Jean Case, the Chairman of the National Geographic Society and CEO of the Case Foundation, is a philanthropist, and internet and impact investing pioneer who advocates for the importance of embracing a more fearless approach to bring about transformational breakthroughs. Her career in the private sector, including as a senior executive at AOL, spanned nearly two decades before co-founding the Case Foundation in 1997.
James Lee "Jim" Sorenson, is a world-renowned entrepreneur, business leader and societal innovator. Jim created the Sorenson Impact Center at the David Eccles School of Business at the University of Utah to support a mission to cultivate students' social impact expertise. Jim led a team that developed a high-quality, lost-cost videophone that transformed communication capabilities for 1 million deaf individuals in the early 2000s, realizing that his investments could "do well while doing good," and he hasn't looked back.
